The Human Rights Tribunal has awarded a woman with multiple sclerosis about $10,000, ruling that her physical disability was at least a partial factor in her dismissal from her job at a store.
Charlene Bateman was employed as a store man-ager at sportswear apparel company Prime-Time Sports, owned by Bill and Harprit Husband, between November 2009 and February 2010.
