Getting out in nature and doing gentle exercise are thereuapeutic ways of dealing with the isolation and tendency to 'blue' moods that are part and parcel with a chronic, progressive disease like multiple sclerosis.

Being compassionate with yourself involves t caring for your mind, your body and your spirit.  Gentle exercise like walking outdoors is a starting point.  Including a few stretching exercises will lift your mood and will have numerous other health benefits.
